The timing and scope of martial law in Ukraine was reduced under the guidance of the West. About it in interview to TV channel NewsOne, said the journalist Dmitry Gordon.
He reminded about the plans of the Ukrainian leader Petro Poroshenko to impose martial law for 30 days, not 60, so as not to disrupt the elections to be held on March 31. It is also planned to introduce martial law throughout the country.
According to Gordon, the President called German Chancellor Angela Merkel and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
The journalist noted that the introduction of martial law in Ukraine was planned several months ago as a “spare pre-election scenario for one of the candidates for leaders.”
