The international Association of athletics federations (IAAF) has refused to restore the rights of all-Russian athletics Federation (vfla). About it reports TASS.

According to the source Agency, the decision was taken by the IAAF Council. This means that Russian athletes are still not allowed to participate in international competitions under the national flag. Officially, the failure to restore wfla was not declared.

Membership of the club at the IAAF was suspended for systematic violation of anti-doping rules in 2015, and since then, the suspension was repeatedly extended. The last time this happened in November 2017.

Imposed on wfla sanctions all Russian athletes, in addition to jumper Darya Kishineu, missed the Olympic games in 2016. At the moment, they are under a neutral flag. The application of the Russians to participate in the tournaments are considered individually.
