The world Boxing champion died at 47 years

German boxer Markus Beyer died at the age of 47 years. It is reported by Boxing News.

Bayer died on 3 December at a hospital in Berlin. The exact cause of death is not known, it is known only that the former athlete died due to a short and severe illness.

“Bayer was a great man. The news of his passing was a shock,” admits former German coach Ulli Wegner.

Bayer acted as a professional boxer from 1996 to 2008. On account of his won 35 matches, three defeats and one draw. The German three times world champion in the Middleweight version of the world Boxing Council (WBC). In the last match he defeated on points the Russian Murad Makhmudov. In addition, he has participated twice in the Olympic games in 1992 and 1996.
