Two Ukrainian sailor, who was detained after the incident in the Kerch Strait, were cadets sent to this day on probation from school. This was reported by the Moscow Ombudsman Tatyana Potyaeva after visiting them in jail “Lefortovo”, reports RIA Novosti.
According to Putevoy, the topic she was particularly “disturbed”. She noted that one of the students living without parents and very upset with the situation. Potyaeva urged not to prevent his learning the fate of collapsed. “I will ask Tatiana Moskalkova [Russian Ombudsman] to discuss with the authorized in Ukraine, the issue to their expulsion from school did not take place”, — concluded Commissioner for human rights in the city.
1 Dec Moskalkova told about the status of detained Ukrainian sailors. According to her, three received shrapnel wounds are on the mend, and the rest placed in “Lefortovo” in accordance with international standards. On 3 December they were charged with illegal crossing of the Russian border.
The incident in the Kerch Strait took place on 25 November. Border Department of the FSB detained three Ukrainian ships that crossed the Russian border, has not responded to the requirement to stop and started to do dangerous maneuvers. In response to the actions of the Russian President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko introduced in some areas of the country martial law, and established restrictions on entry to the country for Russian men.
