Manufacturer of alcoholic beverages “Abrau-Durso” became the first wine house of Russia, having kosher certificate in the category of sparkling wines. About it reports “Interfax”.

According to the “Abrau-Dyurso”, the first batch (80 thousand bottles) produced from the harvest of 2018 and will be sold on the territory of Russia and abroad, including in Israel.

All stages of the process of creating sparkling wine was held under the supervision of the Department of kashrut at the main Rabbinate of Russia.

The company “Abrau-Durso” States that in the future plans to produce kosher wine in quantities “sufficient to meet the demand in Russian and foreign markets.”

In December it became known that the restaurant “Dubrovin” in Yekaterinburg will be tasting your favorite wine of the Soviet leader Joseph Stalin. Visitors can sample five wines: Tsinandali, Rkatsiteli, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet franc, Kindzmarauli and Khvanchkara.
