Microsoft has removed the YouTube promotional video with the participation of Russian actor Ivan Okhlobystin. The representatives of the Corporation explained that the video violates preached by the company to the principles of diversity and inclusion. About it reports “Russian service bi-Bi-si”.
Video “a Couple of tips from Ivan Okhlobystin” appeared on YouTube in late November. The actor performed the role of computer “doctor”. “Well, my dear, we will be treated?” he asked owners of broken appliances. As a remedy, he offered to install a licensed Windows program.
The video was removed on the morning of 5 December. Image of Okhlobystin in the way of computer “doctor” also disappeared from the website of the Russian representative office Microsoft. “Microsoft supports diversity and inclusion in every aspect of their work, and we removed the title that appeared on our YouTube channel, as well as all relevant content from our website”, — explained in the company.
Okhlobystin is known for the sharp statements and appealing to the LGBT community. In particular, he proposed “live to cram in the oven” of homosexuals. It is also called “choke traitors”, commenting on the decision of the Patriarchate of Constantinople to grant autocephaly to the Ukrainian Church.
Okhlobystin 52 years. He is the father of six children. In the past — priest of the Russian Orthodox Church, temporarily suspended from the service on their own. Okhlobystin starred in dozens of Russian films. Fame brought him the role of Dr. Bykov in the TV series “Interns”. In November 2016, he became a citizen of the DNI.
