Russian President Vladimir Putin gave start to the third gas Providence at the Bovanenkovskoye oil and gas condensate field, which is located on the Yamal Peninsula, where, as noted by the head of state, focused gas reserves on a universal scale. The President’s words “Interfax”.
In the solemn launch ceremony was also attended by the head of “Gazprom” Alexei Miller, who in the course of activities recalled that the decision on creation on the Yamal gas production center was taken exactly 10 years ago. “Today, the basic field of this new gas production center we have brought to the specified design capacity of 115 billion cubic meters of gas per year”, — said the head of Russian gas monopoly. Miller is convinced that the reserves will last for 110 years of gas production.
The Russian President also said that the reserves of the Bovanenkovskoye field is estimated at 4.9 trillion cubic meters of gas, and total gas reserves on the Peninsula exceed 16.7 trillion. “It’s a universal scale. It is planned that by 2030 there will be produce 310-360 billion cubic meters of gas. But that’s not all. We develop the province as a whole move on,” — said Putin. He also noted that in 2019, will begin development of kharasaveyskoe field located North of the Bovanenkovo. By 2023 is planned for the first extraction, and the design level field is a 32 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
