One soldier was rescued after the crash of American fighter-bomber McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet and a military transport aircraft KC-130 off the coast of Japan. It provide medical help, reported by TASS in the press service of the marine Corps U.S. forces.
Now the search continues for the remaining six crew members of the aircraft. Assistance in the operation have the Japanese military and rescue workers.
The fighter and tanker collided on 5 December during refueling. They took off from the base of the U.S. marine corps Iwakuni. It is noted that on Board were seven people.
The cause of the crash has not been determined. Experts to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
