This was stated by Minister of foreign Affairs of Belarus Vladimir Makei at the session of the Council of foreign Ministers of the organization for security and cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Milan. According to Makei, the incident in the Kerch Strait is a “red line” followed by “point of no return”. He stressed that similar cases in the past has led to world conflict.
“Settlement of the Ukrainian conflict — the key issue of security in Europe. Some even say that the Donbass – it is a question of the political order in Europe. Unfortunately, recent events are cause for serious concern,” he said.
The Minister also added that Belarus will make every effort to resolve the crisis. In particular, the country is ready to prepare the site for the work of the Trilateral contact group in Minsk.
