The American magazine the National Interest called five weapons, which “will give the U.S. Navy the advantage in the XXI century”.
The list includes carriers of type Ford type submarine Columbia, hypersonic missiles, advanced surface ships, created in the framework of the LSC (Large Surface Combatant), and sixth generation fighters.
The publication notes that “the U.S. Navy from 1943 remained the most powerful Navy in the world”, however, this is disputed by Russia and China, which are developing increasingly sophisticated weapons, including hypersonic missiles and low-noise submarines.
In December, the Director of the Center for comprehensive European and international studies, NRU HSE Dmitry Suslov named three potential unintended military clash with the United States and Russia in the next few years.
