Black comedian refused to “Oscar” after the insult to the feelings of gays

Actor and comedian Kevin HART has refused to perform the ceremony of awarding the “Oscar” in 2019 after the scandal because of the old homophobic tweets. About it the actor said in his Twitter account on Friday, December 7.

“I don’t want to divert the attention that night from many talented artists. I sincerely apologize to the LGBT community for my insensitive phrase in the past,” — said HART.

On the appointment of a black comedian in a leading role “Oscar-2019” became known in December. After that HART was highly critical of users of social networks, remembering his old comments about gays. In particular, the artist recalled his homophobic videos made in 2009 and 2010.

39-year-old Kevin HART has starred in such films as “Jumanji: a jungle”, “Half of the spy,” “Superhero movie”, “the end of the world 2013: Apocalypse in Hollywood”, “a Little bit married” and the series “scary movie”.

In July, Director James Gunn, who was working on the third part of “Guardians of the Galaxy”, was fired because of the scandal with his provocative tweets published around 2008 to 2011. In these, the filmmaker joked on themes of pedophilia, rape and AIDS.
