Residents of a remote tundra factory on Yamal have to pay hundreds of rubles for each liter of gasoline. It is stated in the public “Voice of the Tundra” in “Vkontakte”.
The payment is in kind: 60 kilograms of deer antlers for 200-liter barrel of fuel.
In monetary terms this is about 300 rubles per liter, reports Ura.ru.
Alternatives for the people there, because the nearest gas station is hundreds of miles away.
“Maybe it’s some kind of horns buyers are trading near the trading post. There often people come different, sell petrol products. I thing that they vodka not taken”, — told the Agency owner posts Lyudmila A. Aleshina, and added that in her store the fuel is not sold, and available diesel oil is used only for business purposes.
At the end of December last year, the head of “Rosneft” Igor Sechin suggested that the price of gasoline for consumers at the beginning of 2019 will grow by only 1.7 percent, despite the increase in VAT and fuel excise duties.
