The Ministry of defence did not disclose the death of Junior Sergeant of the Russian army Andranik Arustamian in Syria, writes “the Russian service Bi-bi-si”.
Arustamyan was a Junior Sergeant of the 1st battalion of the 21st infantry brigade of 2nd army. As notes the edition, the Russian defense Ministry has not commented on the information about the death of several Russians in the explosion of anti-tank mines on the road to Damascus — Deir ez-Zor. Russian media reported that the incident occurred on 4 November 2018, but from the official documents issued to the relatives, it follows that the explosion occurred on 2 November.
Native military doubt the veracity of the official version. “Anti-tank mine should not detonate if dropped from a small height”, — shared with “bi-Bi-si” had to do with the Russian army relative Arustamian. One of the brothers of the deceased also believes that the defense Ministry did not hide and did not make secret of the soldier’s death. “Russian service Bi-bi-si” said that 18 December was sent to the war Department asking how many Russians were killed in Syria since October 2018, but received no response. In total, from November 2015 to September 2018 was confirmed the death of the 108 Russian soldiers.
On the death of 11 people in the explosion in the former building of the criminal police in Syria was reported on 5 November 2018. Six of the 11 victims, according to some, presumably, belonged to the mercenaries of private military companies (PMCs) Wagner.
