In the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous area hunter shot and killed a son, mistaking him for a moose. On Wednesday, January 9, reported on the website of the regional Department of the Investigative Committee.
The tragedy occurred on 3 January in the Nefteyugansk district. Relatives went hunting, and in conditions of poor visibility, the man fired a gun at a moving object, thinking it was an animal. But coming closer, he saw that killed his son. From the received wounds 18-year-old young man died at the scene.
In relation to the hunter was prosecuted for causing death by negligence.
In September of last year the inhabitant of the Arkhangelsk region accidentally killed his brother, shooting at the ducks. His cousin stood up in the boat during the shot and was on the firing line.
In February, Stavropol hunter shot his teenage son. A man inadvertently pulled the trigger when reloading a rifled gun, and the bullet hit the boy. From the received wounds the teenager died on the spot.
