The interior Ministry has proposed to impose penalties for drug ads on the Internet for the sum to 1 million rubles. This follows from the draft law posted on the project portal of normative legal acts.

Changes will be made in the relevant article of the code of administrative violations. According to the document, for violation for officials and individual entrepreneurs stipulates fines from 50 to 100 thousand rubles, or administrative suspension of activity for up to 90 days.

Legal entities face fines of up to 1 million rubles or administrative suspension of activity for up to 90 days.

It is expected that the new bill will increase the efficiency of countering the propaganda and advertising of drugs on the Internet and will not require additional funding from the Federal budget.
