In 2018, housing and communal services in Russia grew by 3.7 percent. The relevant information is published on Thursday, January 10, on the website of the Federal service of state statistics (Rosstat).
According to the Agency, stronger just increased the prices of Sewerage, cold and hot water supply: 5.7 percent, 5 percent and 4.4 percent, respectively. Electricity has risen by 3.9%, heating — by 3.8%, gas — by 3 percent.
The size of payment for accommodation in houses of state and municipal housing funds has increased over the year by 4 per cent, maintenance and repairs of housing (including the contribution for capital repairs) for citizens-owners of 3.6 percent, according to Rosstat. Services for maintenance of houses ZHK, ZHSK and condominiums rose by 3.1 percent.
The threat of further growth of utility tariffs at the end of December 2018, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak warned in writing the Ministry of construction of Russia. The reason for the possible increase in the Department called the project of energy on the introduction of fees consumers for their unused reserve grid capacity.
In November it became known that in 2019, the tariffs for housing and communal services will be raised twice — on 1 January and 1 July. Thus, from 1 January prices rose by 1.7 percent by July 2018 and 1 July 2019, they will be increased again by 2.4 per cent to the current level.
