The CPS explained the ban to bring food to school from home

In the new edition SanPiN on child nutrition for parents is not forbidden to give children with them to school more food. The restriction concerns the use brought from home foods and dishes for catering. It is reported RIA Novosti with reference to the representative of the press service of Rospotrebnadzor.

“This paragraph does not affect the choice of the parents method of child nutrition. Certainly, it is the right of parents to give the child additional food or replace the diet completely. In these cases the document is not covered”, — said the Agency interlocutor. He stressed that the ban on cooking with homemade products is not new.

Currently, the updated document being considered. It is assumed that ready-to-eat products, non-perishable, can be used. We are talking about nuts, dried fruits and fruits.

Earlier on Wednesday, January 9, Moskovsky Komsomolets published material about the new rules in children’s nutrition. The newspaper reported that the draft SanPiN there is a clause prohibiting to bring into the dining room foods and dishes from home. Meanwhile, in the document, which is published on the website of the Federal portal of projects of normative legal acts States: “do Not use for food the children brought from home foods and dishes”.
