Ministry for digital development, communications and mass communications has sent a negative opinion on a bill equating an insult to the power of the Internet to disorderly conduct, but was ready to work with this concept. This was stated by the head of the Ministry Alexey Volin, reports video News Service.

The bill, under which insulting the power of the web can be equated to disorderly conduct, submitted to the state Duma, the Federation Council members Andrei Klishas and Lyudmila Bokova, and the Deputy Dmitry Vyatkin. In their opinion, the liability should arise for the spread of the Internet materials that are “indecently expressing clear disrespect for society, state”, state symbols and state agencies. What may be considered indecent form, the document is not specified.

Currently, disorderly conduct is punishable by a fine from one to five thousand roubles or administrative arrest up to 15 days.
