Five crew members of the airline American Airlines have been hospitalized after a strange smell on Board. About it reports Fox News.
The Airbus 320, carrying 137 passengers, arrived at the international airport Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood international from Philadelphia on the morning of 11 January. Shortly before landing, all crew members, including two pilots, complained of feeling unwell and the stench in the cabin.
After landing as a precaution company employees were hospitalized. Anybody from passengers has not suffered. The aircraft will be rebuilt. On the causes of the strange smell on Board is not reported.
In November, the airline Sriwijaya Air, coming from the city of Bengkulu on the island of Sumatra in the Indonesian capital Jakarta was delayed for an hour due to passenger complaints on intolerable stench on Board. The source of the odor turned out to be an exotic fruit called durian. According to eyewitnesses, the passengers left the aircraft and refused to return while the crew does not get rid of fruits.
