American actress Verna bloom died on 9 January aged 80 years. It is reported portal Variety.
In the family of the actress said that in recent years she suffered from dementia.
Bloom was born in Massachusetts in 1939. After graduating from Boston University she began her acting career in local theater, and in the mid-60s moved to new York, where he gained popularity through performances on Broadway. After that she made several dozens of roles in movies, including three of Martin Scorsese’s film (“Street scene”, “the Last temptation of Christ” and “After work”) and two works by Clint Eastwood (“Rider high plains”, “Singing in pubs”).
