In Transbaikalia employees of Rospotrebnadzor started a criminal investigation for concealing data about the poisoned drinking water of the inhabitants of the village Priiskovaya (part 1 of article 327 of the criminal code), according to the website of the regional Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR).

According to investigators, in July employees of the CPS found in the sources exceeding the maximum permissible content of arsenic, 40 times, but this is not informed. “Hid the information about the facts, posing danger to the life or health of the population”, — stated in the message.

In Rospotrebnadzor said that the arsenic in village water supply can be of natural origin due to proximity to gold deposits.
