Nine Russian citizens were deported from Azerbaijan for organizing illegal religious gatherings. This was reported on the website of the Main police Department of Baku city.
According to the report, the special operation took place on 10 January. As a result of operative actions employees of management have found that the Russians were organized in one of the houses in Binagadi district of Baku illegal religious meeting.
During a search militiamen found and withdrew five books of religious orientation (advocating Christianity), 113 CD and 28 thousand business cards.
In respect of Russian citizens drew up a report under article 515 of the administrative code of Azerbaijan (“Infringement of rules of creation and activity of religious institutions”). After that they were deported from the country. Other details in the police report is not given.
