The inhabitants of the collapsed house from exploding in the Mines complained about the gas leak

Residents in Mines (Rostov region), where the explosion occurred, more than a month ago complained to the service for a gas leak, reports “Interfax”.

“Last call for a gas leak — 10 December in this house,” — said the Agency representative of the gas service during the meeting of the operational headquarters on the site of emergency.

The Governor of the region Vasily Golubev said that the situation with gas in the house is not a concern of municipal services.

General Director of “Gazprom gazoraspredelenie Rostov-na-Donu” Vladimir Revenko added that victims of the explosion of the houses did not have individual gas equipment.

Emergency workers said that there is a risk of further collapse of the house, therefore the building structure stronger.

Gas explosion in apartment buildings in the Mines, occurred on the morning of January 14. As a result collapsed the top two floors were evacuated 140 residents. Seven people rescued, one killed. Unknown is the fate of 31-year-old mistress of the apartment where the explosion occurred, and three other tenants on the floor below.

Criminal case as regards 3 articles 109 of the criminal code (“Causing death on imprudence to two and more persons”).
