High jumper Laecken won the “Battle of the sexes”

Russian high jumper height Maria Laecken became the winner of the tournament “battle of the sexes”. This was reported on the website of the all-Russian athletics Federation (vfla).

The competition was held in Moscow. They took part 12 strongest national jumpers. Laecken won with a score of 1249 points. Second was Anna Chicherova (1229 points). Third place left for Elijah Ivanyuk (1143 points). The best attempt of each of the winners is as follows: Laecken — 2.03 m, Chicherova — 2.01 meters, Ivanyuk — of 2.26 meters.

To determine the strongest was used table of scoring Hungarian Bozhidar Spiriva based on statistical data and designed to compare the results of men and women in the high jump.
