Researchers from Check Point, working in the field of IT-security found a Trojan AdultSwine in the online store Google Play Store lurking in apps for children. This was reported in the blog of the organization.

According to experts, after install the infected application AdultSwine awaiting the unlock of the screen of the gadget and starts a full-scale attack on the device. The malware prompts the user to install a fake security program, displays ads and ads with pornographic content, and calls to connect to paid services.

It is noted that pornographic pictures of me without any warning appear while you use children’s apps. When you try to remove AdultSwine, user is redirected to a fake app in the Google Play Store, which does not affect the solution.

Google has already started to take action and remove the infected apps from the online store. However, according to Check Point, AdultSwine was downloaded more than 3.7 million times.
