Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev said that one of the leading resources of modern economy is the intelligence it generates new ideas and opportunities, and the excess of this resource does not invalidate it. Such statement the Prime Minister made at the plenary session of the Gaidar forum, reports TASS.
The Prime Minister added that the time has now come at the crossroads of two eras. “The end of the last century was the age of High-Tech, that is the period of development of high technologies in industry and agriculture. And now this era is commensurate with the age of High-Hume — that is, high humanitarian technologies aimed at the maximum development and effective use of individual and collective capacities of people,” he said.
Medvedev noted the need to change the attitude of the state towards the education system. According to him, the new technological way many times increases the value of intellectual capital, which means more and more global competition. “In these circumstances, that person becomes the main value and the main reference point in making management decisions”, — said the Prime Minister.
The Prime Minister added that “classic” economic indicators do not always allow you to “accurately judge what is really happening with the economy”, and he believes one of the important indicators of people’s satisfaction with life.
