Vodka sales in Russia by the end of 2017 is still grown. Such data are cited by Rosalkogolregulirovanie (PAP), informs “Interfax”.
The Supervisory authority argues that the retail sale of vodka in 2017 rose 2.4 percent from 70.5 to 72.2 million decaliters. While the PAP insist that, in connection with the widespread transition of outlets in the Unified state automated information system of the account of alcohol (EGAIS) to read the data at the end of 2017 should be solely on the declarations.
To assess the volume of sales by market year-on-year, according to RAHR, would be correct only with 2019 when the market will work according to the rules of the new system.
According to the data submitted to the office of declarations of sale of alcohol a fortress more than 25 degrees in 2017 amounted to 5.6 million decaliters, which is 9.5 percent more than in 2016 (5.1 million gallons). Sales of cognac in 2017 amounted to 10.4 million decaliters against 9.7 million gallons in 2016, a growth of 7.2 percent.
Most strongly increased sales of fruit wine — the growth was 81 percent, while the volume reached 11.3 million decaliters against 6.2 million in 2016. Total wine production in 2017 were sold at 107.5 million decaliters.
Monday, January 22, the national Union for the protection of the rights of consumers reported a sharp drop in retail sales of alcohol, particularly vodka, in Russia. According to Union, in 2017 sales fell 16.6 percent.
