The Creator of Counter-Strike arrested for pedophilia

The Seattle police (Washington, USA) arrested one of the founders of the online shooter Counter-Strike’s Jess Cliffe (Jess Cliffe). He is suspected of child molestation, writes Kotaku.

It is noted that the cliff has not filed formal charges. While he was detained without the right to bail, and the police did not disclose details of the incident.

In the Studio Valve announced that cliff temporarily suspended pending clarification of details.

Jess Cliffe, along with designer min Lee (Minh Le) created the original version of Counter-Strike in 1999, which was a mod for Half-Life. Later on Valve bought the rights to the project and invited cliff to their work. He worked in the Studio since 2003. Just the main series published five versions of the game, the most popular of which — Counter-Strike 1.6. The last part — Global Offensive was released in 2012.
