Former soloist of the American band The Temptations Dennis Edwards died in the US at the age of 74. The cause of death is not yet known, informs a portal TMZ.

Edwards was replaced in the team of singer David Ruffin in 1968. With him The Temptations recorded the song Papa was a Rollin’ Stone, which was included in the list of “500 songs that shaped rock and roll”, compiled Hall of fame rock-n-roll.
