The head of the hydrometeorological center of Russia Roman Vilfand told TASS that on the night of 5 February intensity of precipitation in Moscow will decrease.

The Meteorologist called snowfall on 4 February the most powerful in the entire history of observations: in Moscow from 06:00 to 18:00 fell 53 per cent of the monthly norm of precipitation, the previous record was recorded in February 1957.

In may, Moscow hosted the hurricane, the city and region killed 16 people, damaged 200 buildings, according to insurers, the damage amounted to 25 million rubles.
