WADA tore the training of the national team of Russia on hockey in Pyeongchang

Officers world anti-doping Agency (WADA) has disrupted a training session of the women’s team of Russia on hockey. About it reports a “Match TV”.

Before class, the doping officers took 16 athletes who had to pass tests. Some of them didn’t get released by the beginning of the workout, because of what the coaches failed to conduct a full lesson.

Earlier on 5 February, the Commission of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has refused the invitation to the Olympics in Pyeongchang 13 Russian athletes and two coaches, who had earlier justified the court of arbitration for Sport (CAS). According to the Commission, the removal of lifetime disqualification of athletes does not mean that they should take part in the Games this year.

The Olympic games will be held in Pyeongchang from 9 to 25 February. Hockey tournament begins may 10 and ends February 22. The Russians will hold the first match with the girls from Canada. In South Korea, our athletes will perform in under the Olympic flag and the special status of “Olympic athlete from Russia.”
