Russian book about moonshine was recognized as a threat to Ukraine

The book “the Soviet GOST moonshine, brandy, wine, cordials and liqueurs” Russian publishing house AST is prohibited for import to Ukraine. On Tuesday, February 6, reports TASS with reference to the decision of the National Committee for television and radio broadcasting of the country.

In the book Denis Tokarev tells about the recipes of making homemade alcohol in the Soviet Union, in particular on the moonshine. The Agency notes that the Ukrainian officials considered the publication a threat to the security of the country.

In addition to the books about moonshine forbidden to import publications “beyond inspiration” Yuri Pole and “Patriot” Andrei Rubanov.

In December 2017 Ukraine has banned the sale of books “Ilya Muromets and Nightingale the robber: stories about Russian heroes” and “Powerful Russian tales”.

At the beginning of 2017 in Ukraine came into force a law that limits the importation of foreign products anti-Ukrainian contents. In may of the same year was approved the procedure for the withdrawal of books produced in Russia and imported to Ukraine without permission.
