Skaters Denis yuskov and Pavel Kulizhnikov, biathletes Irina Starykh and Alexander Loginov, as well as short-Tracinda Tatiana Borodulina will not participate in the Olympic games 2018 in Pyeongchang. It is reported by “Sport-Express”.

Secretary General of Sports arbitration, Mate Reeb stated that the decision on the six Russians will be taken after Games. The athletes appealed to a Swiss civil court after they were not allowed to participate in the Olympics because of a doping past.

The court of Switzerland on 3 February rejected the claim of the six Russian athletes to the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The Committee was not supposed to give them invitations for the Games in 2018.

The IOC in December 2017 has suspended the national team of Russia from participation in the Olympics in 2018. However, the Committee left room for “clean” athletes to perform at the Games under the Olympic flag.

The Olympic games will be held in Pyeongchang from 9 to 25 February.
