Yagudin, Russian figure skater shamed carols for the failure at the Olympics

The Olympic champion 2002 Alexei Yagudin, Russian figure skater criticized Mikhail Kolyada for performance in the short program in the team competition at the Games in 2018. His words leads to “Sport-Express”.

“Can’t discuss his psychological and physical condition, because they do not have any information. But to ride well in any case impossible. You are the leader of the Russian team, and it is binding to something, right? How was it possible they can stay without jumping?”— asked Yagudin.

Former figure skater admitted that Carol had failed, and blamed both the athlete and members of his team. “They have failed him, and he didn’t meet expectations. All are guilty”, — concluded Yagudin.

Earlier on February 9 skaters-skaters opened team competition at the Olympics. During the short program, the Carol fell twice and scored 74,36 points, finishing in eighth place out of ten. He brought the Russian team the three points.

In the pairs competition to the Russian Duo Evgenia Tarasova and Vladimir Morozov took the first place with 80,92 points. The second were the Canadians, meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford (76.57 points), third — representatives of Germany of Alain Savchenko and Bruno Mass (76,36).

Team competition skaters at the Olympics run from 9 to 12 February. 11 February in the fight to take dance duets and female singles skater.

Olympics in Pyeongchang officially launched on 9 February. The game will last until February 25.
