Rosatom has created a specialised company for the development of three-dimensional printing technology that will produce 3D printers. About it reported in a press release of the fuel company of “Rosatom”.
The new structure, called “RuSat” to the end of the year will begin serial production of devices at the enterprises of Novouralsk (Sverdlovsk oblast).
The strategic goal of “Rusala” means revenues to 50 billion rubles by 2025, and the share of the world market in one and a half percent. In “Rosatom” promise that the cost of domestic printer will be 20 percent lower than peers, and the characteristics above.
Printers can release including medical equipment, explained in “Rosatom”. For example, the needs of the country in total amounts to 100 thousand a year.
In November 2017, the lab three-dimensional printing has opened at SKOLKOVO Institute of science and technology. It is equipped with Russia’s biggest printer Insstek MX 1000, which is designed to work with large pieces of steel, copper, aluminum, titanium and Nickel.
