Soviet psychic Anatoly Kashpirovsky has filed a lawsuit on protection of honor, dignity and business reputation against the leadership of the First channel. He demanded 500 thousand rubles for the release of the program “Evening Urgant”, which showed a collage, where the man’s face pasted onto a photo of a cat-“psychic” from Blagoveshchensk. The issue was aired January 31, 2017, however, the psychic went to court in February 2018. Besides money, the man demanded that the representatives of the First channel to make a rebuttal, as shown on the pictures could hurt, according to Kashpirovsky, his reputation.

The heads of the TV station also received a claim from the owners of the cat. Pet owners insist that the authors of humorous program “attributed to ivory properties, which he possesses.”

Anatoly Kashpirovsky was famous in 1989. Psychotherapist leading his own program on the channel of the Central television of the USSR, during which he allegedly magically treated viewers from various diseases. In 2011, the psychic pleaded with RTR due to the approval of the chief psychiatrist of the Ministry of defense of Russia Vladislav Camrea that the sessions Kashpirovsky can harm.
