Ukraine exported to Canada the first batch of Carpathian bees, reports “Voice of America”.

“The knowledge and skills of Ukrainian beekeepers “all-Ukrainian brotherhood of beekeepers of Ukraine” and the actual bees from Ukraine will help canadian beekeepers to meet the challenges facing canadian populations of beneficial insects” — the newspaper notes.

Partner of the Ukrainian side will be the canadian Niagara Beeway.

“With delight, already buzzed. George Scott of the Niagara Beeway and with Tetyana Vasylkivska reported on the joint efforts to help the bee population in Canada, their knowledge and Carpathian bees,” wrote the Ambassador of Canada in Ukraine Roman Vashchuk on his Twitter page.

Ukrainian exports by the end of 2017 increased by 19 percent to 39.9 billion dollars. 16 percent increased supply of cereals, oils and fats, meat and dairy products. Most grew the export of Ukrainian goods to EU countries — by 32 percent.

According to the Association of “the pig Breeders of Ukraine”, in 2017, the country doubled its foreign exchange earnings from the export of pigs compared with a year earlier.
