U.S. ready to provide Russia’s assistance in investigating the crash of An-148. This was stated by the President of Donald trump during a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin, reports Associated Press with reference to the press service of the White house.
Earlier it was reported that trump was the Russian leader expressed condolences in connection with crash that claimed the lives of 71 people.
In addition, the presidents discussed a number of aspects of the settlement of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on the eve of Putin’s meeting with the leader of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas in Moscow and the situation on the Korean Peninsula — in particular, further steps in the denuclearization of North Korea.
The Agency reminds that the last time Putin and trump called up in December 2017, then the Russian leader thanked the U.S. counterpart for CIA provided information that helped to prevent the attacks in Saint-Petersburg.
Antonov an-148 taking off from the capital’s Domodedovo airport on February 11, a few minutes after takeoff fell in Ramenskoye district of Moscow region. On Board were 65 passengers and 6 crew members.
