The Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu said that the arguments of the police, suspecting him of bribery, reminiscent of the “holey Swiss cheese”. On Wednesday, February 14, according to Haaretz.

He is suspected of receiving gifts from a wealthy businessman in exchange for promoting its interests, and in an attempt of conspiracy with the publisher of the Israeli newspaper “Yediot Ahronot”. The investigators believe that Netanyahu in exchange for positive coverage of his actions was offered to support the bill that weaken the position of rival publication — the newspaper “Israel Hayom”.
