Snipers from Georgia confessed to shooting Euromaidan in 2014

The Georgian military, who came to Ukraine to participate in the Euromaidan, confessed to shooting Ukrainians in Kiev. This is stated in the material RIA Novosti news Agency.

Sniper Koba Nergadze said that he had a conversation with an Advisor of the former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili Mamuka Mamulashvili, during which he spoke about “the need to create chaos on the Maidan, using weapons all the targets, the protesters and the police — there is no difference”.

The military remembered that 14 or 15 of February, they gathered at the hotel “Ukraine”, which was under the control of protesters. Front of them was the commandant of the Maidan Andriy Parubiy (who is now speaker of Parliament) and promised soon “to give the job”. The meeting was also attended by a certain Christopher brown, which he introduced as a former American soldier. A few days supposedly “to protect” brought weapons, mostly carbines SKS, Kalashnikov rifles, he also saw a sniper rifle SVD.

“Early in the morning on 20 February, about eight o’clock, I heard gunfire from the direction of the Conservatory. After three or four minutes, the group Mamulashvili opened fire from the Windows of the hotel “Ukraine”, from the third floor. Shot in pairs. After the shot went into the next room and still got shot. When it was over, we were told to leave,” said Nergadze.

General of the Georgian army, former commander of the battalion “AVAZ” (“Panther”), Tristan Tsitelashvili confirmed that some of those present on the Maidan — “these are my deputies in the Georgian army. Some are still on the territory of Ukraine, taking part in hostilities”.

On 13 February, the lawyer Evgenia Zakrevskaya said that expelled the day before, from the Ukraine to Poland, Mikheil Saakashvili were to come to Svyatoshinsky district court of Kiev and to testify in the case of the killings of activists on the Maidan. It was expected that the policies will clarify the version of the Georgian snipers on the Maidan.
