The US President Donald trump has condemned Russia and Iran for what is happening in Syria and called “disgraceful” actions of Moscow and Tehran in that country. It is reported Bloomberg.

The American leader asked a question about what is happening lately in the Syrian Eastern ghouta. “I will say I did recently Russia, Iran and Syria is a humanitarian disgrace. The fact that these three countries have done with [the residents of Eastern ghouta] is a disgrace,” said trump during a joint press conference with Prime Minister of Australia Malcolm Turnbull.

Also, the US President said that the only purpose of the stay of American troops in Syria to defeat the terrorists “Islamic state” (IG, is prohibited in Russia). “We are there for one reason: to get rid of ISIS and return home. We have no other reasons,” said trump.

Earlier, the US blamed a “surge in violence” in Eastern ghouta on the Syrian authorities and Russia. The Kremlin said in reply about the groundlessness of such accusations.

Syrian government forces began strikes on the positions of Islamist groups in the Damascus suburb of East ghouta on February 18. Settled down the terrorist groups of “Ahrar al-sham”, “Falak ar-Rahman”, “Hayat Tahrir al-sham”, “Jaish al-Islam” shelled districts of the Syrian capital.
