Ukrainian police will not let the Russians in a diplomatic mission to the presidential elections. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
The building of the Russian Consulate in Lviv, where a polling station is situated, the police together with the National guard shielded metal fence. “We miss only those who work in the Consulate, and only on the list that we have. No one else,” said a police officer at the Consulate building.
In addition, representatives of the movement “national body” has put the building of the drums and the tent. According to them, they want to make the “corridor of shame” for those wishing to vote in the elections.
It is reported that the Consulate staffed by several dozen security forces. At the moment the situation is calm. Also Russian voters not allowed to vote in Odessa and Kiev.
On 16 March, the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov said that the Ukrainian security forces will not let Russian citizens in the Russian diplomatic mission in this country to vote in presidential elections. Kiev has taken such a decision due to the fact that the elections of the President of Russia held in Crimea and Sevastopol, which Ukraine considers its territory. Moscow called the decision of the Ukrainian authorities is unprecedented and does not fit into the conventional ideas about civilized countries.
