“LUKOIL” outgrown “Gazprom”

Shares of Russian oil company “LUKOIL” has overtaken the paper of “Gazprom” capitalisation and took the second place after Sberbank. This was reported on the website of the Moscow exchange.

At 10:25 GMT share price of LUKOIL rose to 3.9 thousand rubles (plus 0.6 percent), the capitalization of the company reached 3,317 trillion rubles. The capitalization of “Gazprom” fell to 3,314 trillion rubles.

The first place for capitalization is Sberbank — 5,711 trillion rubles. For Rosneft with a market capitalization of 3.27 trillion rubles slipped.

The market value of “LUKOIL” on 27 March for the first time in history exceeded the capitalization of “Rosneft”.

“LUKOIL” of 23 March, presented investors with the company’s strategy for the years 2018-2027: the growth of production, improvement of oil refineries, development of oil and gas products, expansion of sales network, implementation of a progressive dividend policy. The company’s President Vagit Alekperov has said that he believes LUKOIL is undervalued and hoped that the new strategy will contribute to the growth of capitalization.
