The sketch of the Russian super-heavy launch vehicle will spend half a billion rubles

“Roscosmos” will spend on the preliminary design of Russian super-heavy launch of 1.6 billion rubles, follows from the data on the procurement website.

The development needs to be completed by November 2019, super-heavy rocket will output to low-earth orbit of up to 90 tons of cargo and deliver it to the moon at least 20 tons.

This project should be possible to increase load capacity up to 140 tons for low-earth orbit and up to 27 tonnes for delivery to the satellite.

On the project of super-heavy rockets work RSC “Energia”. Proceed directly to the construction of the media Corporation plans to 2020, the flight test is scheduled from 2028.

The rocket is supposed to use primarily for lunar program, and to explore the Solar system. Complex for the construction of the carrier will create on the Eastern spaceport in the Amur region.

Projects of super-heavy launch vehicles are implemented only in the United States. The Soviet Union conducted four launch vehicle H-1, they were unsuccessful. Superheavy “Energy” was launched in 1987 and 1988, both times successfully. The rocket was created including the Soviet Orbiter “Buran”, the program “Energy-Buran” was closed in 1993.
