President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko demanded to look for an alternative to the Russian market and complained that “Russia has decided us to tilt”. About it reports BelTA news Agency.
“If they have decided to tilt constantly for that clear, then we will seek his fortune elsewhere. So look for other markets. Not in the same market to sit all the time,” the Belarusian leader said, noting that he intends to discuss trade issues with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin after his inauguration.
Lukashenka is still unhappy with the protracted negotiations with Moscow on the supply of dairy products from Belarus. He insists that the Russian producers are faced with surplus milk powder that was purchased in New Zealand. In his opinion, Russian producers are deliberately lobbying for a ban on the import of Belarusian products to have time to implement it at a higher price and not to compete with neighbors.
“First, what brought, what people feed? But that’s their problem. They do not understand and do not want to understand. Because everywhere kickbacks. And we need to see their interests, which do not contradict interests of Russians. We bad them do not carry. God forbid, as the inspectors themselves say that Russia was as in Belarus. Therefore, we determined this year. Well, we’re doing a good deed on her knees and face,” says the President.
The ban on import of Belarusian dairy products enters the territory of Russia from 31 March. The Belarusian side insists that this happens without explanation, the Russian believes that through Belarus imported products of dubious quality, as well as many fake from third countries.
