Russia has decided to expel European diplomats

Russia took the decision to expel European diplomats in response to similar actions of a number of States adopted in connection with the poisoning in Britain of former GRU Colonel Sergei Skripal and his daughter. About the requirements of Moscow reported the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the countries of Europe, reports Reuters.

The Italian foreign Ministry pointed out that Russia will be sent two employees of the Embassy. They were given fees for a week. Also “persona non grata” declared one diplomat from Finland and Sweden.

As reports RIA Novosti, regarding the response also stated the foreign Ministry of Poland. Moscow demanded that four members of the Polish diplomatic mission left the territory of Russia until April 7. Will be three Lithuanian and one Latvian diplomat and military attaché Estonia.

Sergei Skripal and his daughter Julia was discovered unconscious in a Park in British Salisbury on 4 March. As it turned out, they were poisoned with nerve agent. London has accused Russia reduced the Russian diplomatic mission. In response, Moscow was declared persona non grata by the British diplomats.

After great Britain the Russian diplomats sent US (60 people) and 27 other countries, including Ukraine and Australia. In response, the Russian authorities declared persona non grata 58 employees of the American Embassy in Moscow and two employees of the American Consulate General in Yekaterinburg.
