Striker club of the National hockey League “Dallas Stars” Alexander Radulov will not play in team Russia at the 2018 world Cup. This was reported by journalist Sean Shapiro, in his Twitter account.
Club striker failed to reach the playoffs of the Stanley Cup, that would allow him to participate in the tournament. Nevertheless, Radulov refused to go to the national team.
The athlete refused to play for the national team at the world Championships 2016 and 2017. He told me that in 2016, the Federation of hockey of Russia tried to force him to come to the competition. In April of that year, FHR has accused Radulov’s unwillingness to play for the national team.
The last time a hockey player wore the shirt of the Russian team in 2015. This season, the 31-year-old forward scored 72 (27+45) points in 82 games of the regular championship of NHL.
