Moscow has warned Washington of “grave consequences” if the United States decides to strike at Syria. This was stated by Russia’s permanent representative to the UN Vassily Nebenzia at the meeting of the Security Council, reports Reuters.
“Through appropriate channels we already gave the US military power under the false pretext against Syria, where, at the request of the legitimate government of the country, Russian troops are deployed, can lead to serious consequences,” he said.
The diplomat said the participants of the meeting that himataki in the Syrian Duma, which was written in the media, was not.
Earlier, on 9 April, the President of the United States Donald trump warned about the imminent important decision of the White house against the organizers of the alleged himataki.
The UN security Council meeting was convened after in mass media there was information about the use of Syrian army chemical weapons in Duma, which allegedly killed dozens of civilians. The Russian defense Ministry has denied these allegations.
