Russian climber was waiting for assistance in the Caucasus and died

Russian climber from Ryazan died in the campaign in North Ossetia. On Monday, June 18, reports “Interfax”.

On June 17, the Ryazan group of climbers who climb mount Kazbek, called the rescue squad after one of the travelers lost consciousness. Rescuers moved to help the Russians, but on arriving they had only 18 of June. An unconscious climber did not wait for assistance and died from edema of the lung.

“Unfortunately, the climber died. A group of rescuers continued the ascent. Only in the group of climbers seven people”, — said the source Agency.

In may, the traveler from Bashkiria died because of altitude sickness and hypothermia while trying to conquer Everest. Rustem Amirov, who several times made the ascent of mount Elbrus, peak Lenin and Khan-Tengri, wrote about his trip to Instagram. The last post in which he talked about how he was ready for a “decisive summit”, was published may 13. On the death of the climber reported his wife Galina Amirov.
