The head of audit chamber and former Minister of Finance Alexey Kudrin again has proposed to lay off one third of officials through processes of digitalization. The words of the official quoted by “Interfax”.
According to Kudrin, to get rid of the number of employees you can have by 2024. “We see that a third can in six years, officials cut through digitization,” said Kudrin during a meeting of the Council for the development of the digital economy.
Thus, according to the head of the accounting chamber, reductions and the very court of auditors, any exceptions should not be. The head auditors noted that in the future his Agency will conduct fewer audits than it spends now. However, the Agency will continue to “see everything”, said Kudrin.
During the meeting, Kudrin also spoke in favor of the idea of creating a “digital twin” — a unified account storage, and officials, and all citizens in principle. Moreover, the creation of “digital doubles” of the members of the Federation Council, according to Kudrin, would avoid “taking many unnecessary laws.”
In early June, the head of audit chamber has proposed to lay off one third of officials, then it was shown in the proposed Kudrin administrative reform, developed with the support of the Center for strategic research (CSR). Implementation of the program would have to reduce spending on the army officials, almost three times.
